We put advisors at the center of everything we do, which is why we regularly seek client input on how well we’re delivering on our mission. We recently completed our annual advisor survey, which included questions on satisfaction, value, and product enhancements. The survey is instrumental in shaping everything we do at 55ip—from our service model and investment solutions to how we develop our product roadmap. It also offers a timely window into wealth management trends, based on what advisors say they need most to serve clients effectively. Here are some key highlights:

Continuously improving client satisfaction

We were proud to see advisor satisfaction rise in every measurable category from prior year, including:

  • Net Promoter Score (NPS): up 13%
  • Advisor Success Manager satisfaction: up 16%
  • Portal satisfaction: up 8%

Most importantly, when asked how important 55ip is to their practice, 72% of respondents said “55ip is already essential to my practice.”

What we heard from our clients

1. Our strategic investment in product enhancements has driven advisor portal satisfaction to its highest level since tracking began in 2022.

Question: Over the past year, we’ve made several enhancements to the advisor portal – please rate the following ( Account Dashboard, Invest Cash, Daily Alerts and Cash Raise on Assignment).

Finding: 68% of advisors who have used the Account Dashboard are strongly in favor of this new feature.

In 2025, our product team added new portal features, including a new Account Dashboard, improvements to cash management (including the ability to invest excess cash or raise cash when assigning new accounts), and daily alerts that increase transparency into account status. These enhancements were well received, with the Account Dashboard earning the highest satisfaction scores.

2. Advisors are increasing adoption of Active SMAs and Direct Indexing.

Question: To what extent are you aware of the following investment vehicles available on our platform?

Finding: The percentage of advisors who say that Direct Indexing and Active SMAs are foundational to their business has grown 260% over the past year.

As advisors look to deliver greater personalization at scale, our managed account solutions continue to offer a range of options to meet client needs. While custom models still power a large percentage of accounts, Direct Indexing and Active SMAs saw the strongest growth over the past year.

3. Advisors plan to expand into more sophisticated strategies and investments in 2026.

Question: When thinking about 2026, what is your view on the following types of investments?

Finding: 51% of Advisors indicate they plan to increase their use of Direct Indexing Solutions in 2026

In addition to strong interest in continuing to leverage model portfolios, Direct Indexing was the largest area of interest: 51% of respondents said they plan to increase utilization. This was followed by Model Blending (34%) and Semi-Liquid Alternative investments (26%).

While much of the feedback we received was positive, we know that when a majority of clients view us as “essential to their practice,” they hold us to a high standard. We appreciate all feedback—especially comments that show where we can improve.

Each of these findings helps us stay on the cutting edge of fintech to support advisors’ growth and help break down barriers to financial progress. Although the survey is conducted annually, we continuously seek feedback to ensure our clients’ voices are heard and to keep innovating with purpose.
